2017 Fall Trade Shows
The Fall trade show season is upon us. Paulo Sales, Marketing, and Metallurgy will be attending a variety of conferences and trade shows. These events are great opportunities to network within the manufacturing community and build relationships with existing and prospective customers. Many shows have grown into community education and workforce development with local high schools and colleges participating.
Trade shows are a big investment of both time and money, but the chance to meet face to face with both new and existing customers is well worth it. Below are some of the shows we have chosen to support. Shows are a great way to learn about the advancements in manufacturing technology and the investments that the industry is making in new processes, facilities, and materials. This year we are excited to share our news about our newest facility in Mexico.
We hope to see you at one of these shows or the many others we will attend this fall. If you would like to setup a time to talk during one of the events, or want to connect prior, please contact us.
FABTECH® runs November 6th-9th this year and touts itself as North America’s Largest Metal Forming, Fabricating, Welding and Finishing Event. This year the event is in Chicago at the McCormick Place and over 50,000 are expected to attend. FABTECH® has been an annual event for Paulo for many years as we always make valuable connections with potential customers and see many familiar faces.
The robotics and automation, including robotic welders are always fun to watch, and the size of the machine tool and press exhibits are incredible. Paulo will be in Hall A at booth 5358.
SOUTH-TEC takes place October 24th-26th in Greenville, South Carolina. Smaller and more regional than FABTECH®, SOUTH-TEC is presented by AMT and SME. The focus of the show is on machine tools and related technology, however as manufacturing in the Southeast grows other technologies, like additive manufacturing, will certainly be present.
Paulo is committed to supporting the growth of the Southeast. We’ve expanded our Nashville Division and continue to explore partnerships, expansions, and acquisitions in the region. Paulo is booth 737, attending will be Key Account Managers from our Tennessee facilities and Alex Janeway, Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast region.
The Wichita Industrial Trade Show or WITS has been a strong show for years, bringing together much of Wichita’s manufacturing industry. Our Kansas City Division supports the Wichita Aerospace and Industrial markets. The WITS show provides a great opportunity to see many of our existing customers and network with the growing community there. The show runs October 17th-19th at the Century II Expo Hall in Wichita.
Southern Automotive Conference
This annual conference rotates between the southern states that host the events. This year, the 10th in its history, will be in Birmingham, AL in early October. Hosted by AAMA this year’s Southern Automotive Conference boasts improved networking, a revamped exhibitor area, and an innovation zone for showcasing the latest technology. The list of speakers for the event is impressive, studded with Automotive Industry executives and supply chain experts.
Paulo has supported the various southern automotive associations for years and it is exciting to see these events continuously improve over time. Paulo’s booth is to the left of the main stage area #424.
