Paulo’s Cleveland Division, formerly known as American Brazing, has held Nadcap accreditation since 1993. Having demonstrated their ongoing commitment to quality by satisfying customer requirements and industry specifications, the Nadcap Task Group has determined that Paulo has earned the highest level of merit recognition. This achievement moves Paulo Cleveland’s Nadcap Audit cycle from 18 month merit frequency, into a 24 month accreditation. Both Paulo Nadcap facilities, Cleveland and Kansas City had previously received the first tier Nadcap Heat Treating Merit status.  The Kansas City Division has been on an 18-month merit audit cycle since 2013.
“Achieving Nadcap accreditation is not easy: it is one of the ways in which the aerospace industry identifies those who excel at manufacturing quality product through superior special processes. Companies such as Paulo go above and beyond achieving Nadcap accreditation to obtain Merit status and they should be justifiably proud of it,” said Joe Pinto, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Performance Review Institute. “Benefiting from a less frequent audit schedule reduces audit costs and associated pressures and demonstrates the trust that the aerospace industry has in Paulo based on their past performance in Nadcap audits. PRI is proud to support continual improvement in the aerospace industry by helping companies such as Paulo be successful and we look forward to continuing to assist the industry moving forward.”
In addition, Paulo Cleveland wrapped up two AS9100 audits with zero findings which means they have ended 2016 with zero 3rd party audit findings.  “This is quite an achievement and confirms Paulo’s commitment to on-going excellence and performance” quotes Dr. David Mailes, Paulo’s Corporate Director of Quality.  He continues, “I believe this supports Paulo’s mission of helping our customers succeed.  We have dedicated personnel who are committed to making a difference for our customers and our business.  Job well done!”
