Paulo’s Cleveland division is growing. Recently demolition of a neighboring building was completed to kick off the expansion project. The two phase expansion project will add 50,000 ft² when completed. Phase one, 30,000 ft², will be complete in the Fall of 2018 and connect to the existing structure. Once the expansion is completed total floor space will be over 200,000 ft².

The Cleveland plant has over 100 employees and is the largest commercial vacuum heat treat in the United States. The expansion will allow for the installation of more vacuum heat treatment furnaces and allow for optimized flow of work through the facility. The Cleveland plant primarily serves the Aerospace, Power Generation, and Agriculture industries and specializes in precise high temperature vacuum heat treatment and brazing of nickel based superalloys. Phil Harris, Marketing Manager, commented, “This expansion continues the tradition of growth in Cleveland over the past 30 years. Adding this additional capacity will allow us to support our customer’s success into the future while adding new work to the mix”.
Founded in 1943, Paulo is one of the largest providers of heat treating, brazing, and metal finishing solutions in North America. Headquartered in St. Louis, Paulo operates six divisions servicing the Midwest, Great Lakes, and Southeast regions of the United States and northern Mexico.
