As Vice President of Engineering, Scott leads our metallurgical engineering, project engineering, automation engineering, fabrication, and lean technology groups. He is also responsible for all plant expansions, new plant builds, equipment installations, and control systems throughout the entire AST-Paulo network. One of Scott\u2019s biggest accomplishments is leading the process of building our Monterrey division from the ground up from site selection to equipment installation to production readiness and beyond. He joined AST-Paulo in 1998 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Scott enjoys using engineering principles, problem solving techniques, and technology to help overcome the challenges that face both our customers and our teams. He relaxes away from work by spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, traveling, and spending time outdoors.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
