La transformaci\u00f3n metal\u00fargica combinada con la expansi\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica, ambas consecuencias naturales del tratamiento t\u00e9rmico, dan lugar a cierto nivel de distorsi\u00f3n. Los siguientes son factores que nuestro tratador t\u00e9rmico debe tener en cuenta para limitar la distorsi\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Orientaci\u00f3n y carga<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Orientaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>La orientaci\u00f3n de las piezas en el horno puede afectar a la uniformidad de la distribuci\u00f3n del calor en la pieza. Es crucial colocar las piezas de modo que experimenten un calentamiento y enfriamiento uniformes para evitar que se deformen o se doblen. Por ejemplo, si coloca dos piezas una contra otra, las superficies que se tocan experimentar\u00e1n velocidades de calentamiento y enfriamiento m\u00e1s lentas que las superficies expuestas. Este gradiente de temperatura desigual puede provocar deformaciones. Tambi\u00e9n es importante colocar las piezas de forma que sea menos probable que se deformen por su propio peso durante el tratamiento t\u00e9rmico y, al mismo tiempo, limitar la superficie que descansa sobre los dispositivos de tratamiento t\u00e9rmico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dise\u00f1o del ciclo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La receta de su pieza es otro factor que puede ajustarse para minimizar la distorsi\u00f3n. Cada tipo de temple tiene su propio perfil de distorsi\u00f3n, y la severidad del temple que se necesita viene determinada en gran medida por el tipo de material (y el grado de templabilidad del material). En general, las piezas fabricadas con materiales muy endurecibles necesitan un temple menos severo (como el vac\u00edo), que provocar\u00e1 menos distorsi\u00f3n, y las de menor endurecibilidad requerir\u00e1n un temple m\u00e1s severo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Temperatura de enfriamiento del aceite<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los materiales de baja templabilidad indican un temple a mayor velocidad, como el aceite. Pero no todos los aceites son iguales. Los aceites de mayor temperatura ser\u00e1n ligeramente menos severos y pueden provocar menos distorsi\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Enfriamiento a presi\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 presi\u00f3n debe aplicarse en el temple al vac\u00edo? La ventaja del temple en vac\u00edo es que la presi\u00f3n se aplica por igual desde todas las direcciones, lo que puede equivaler a una distorsi\u00f3n m\u00e1s uniforme. Hay dos formas de contrarrestar la distorsi\u00f3n producida durante el tratamiento t\u00e9rmico.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>El m\u00e9todo Clamp &amp; Temper<\/strong><br>Tras el tratamiento t\u00e9rmico, algunos componentes pueden sujetarse y templarse para invertir parte de la distorsi\u00f3n producida. Esto funciona mejor con componentes relativamente delgados y planos. Los fasers de levas son un buen ejemplo de ello. Al salir del tratamiento t\u00e9rmico, no es raro que haya una variaci\u00f3n de 0,025\" debido a la distorsi\u00f3n. Utilizando el m\u00e9todo de sujeci\u00f3n y revenido, es posible volver a ajustarlos a las especificaciones (a menudo dentro de 0,008\").&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los componentes que pueden ser buenos candidatos para la sujeci\u00f3n son las piezas planas de menos de \u00bc\" de grosor y 10\" de di\u00e1metro (aunque estas dimensiones pueden variar). Algunos ejemplos son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>F\u00e1seres de leva<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Componentes del embrague de transmisiones autom\u00e1ticas y manuales<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Herramientas&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Soportes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Separadores<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mecanizado adicional<\/strong><br>Otras piezas que tienen tolerancias extremadamente estrechas pueden necesitar mecanizado adicional despu\u00e9s del tratamiento t\u00e9rmico, ya sea torneado duro o rectificado. Para las piezas en las que se determina que \u00e9ste es el mejor enfoque, es habitual dejar hasta 0,08\" por pulgada de material en la pieza para el tratamiento t\u00e9rmico y mecanizarlo despu\u00e9s.
