Este enfriamiento r\u00e1pido provoca una transformaci\u00f3n de la microestructura de austenita a martensita. Existe una gran variedad de medios de temple, cada uno con sus propias ventajas. Sin embargo, a la hora de elegir qu\u00e9 tipo de medio es mejor para una pieza, los factores decisivos suelen ser la velocidad y la uniformidad del enfriamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tipos de medios de enfriamiento<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los diferentes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paulo.com\/es\/resources\/diferentes-medios-de-apagado-metal-explicado\/\">tipos de medios de enfriamiento<\/a> influyen enormemente en las propiedades finales, la uniformidad y la calidad general del material tratado. Los agentes de enfriamiento m\u00e1s agresivos suelen tener velocidades de enfriamiento mucho m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidas que los menos agresivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enfriamiento con agua<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Existen varios tipos de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paulo.com\/es\/resources\/luz-con-capacidad-de-amortiguacion-a-base-de-agua\/\">enfriamiento al agua<\/a> agentes: c\u00e1ustico, salmuera, agua y pol\u00edmero. La sosa c\u00e1ustica tiene la velocidad de enfriamiento m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida y es el agente de temple de base acuosa m\u00e1s utilizado. Sin embargo, no es adecuado para todas las piezas y aplicaciones debido a su severidad. Como mejor pr\u00e1ctica, las piezas de acero con menos de 0,35% de carbono suelen ser seguras para el temple con agua. Si trabaja con materiales que tienen m\u00e1s de 0,35% de carbono, tiene un riesgo significativamente mayor de agrietamiento durante el temple con agua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Temple en aceite<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paulo.com\/es\/resources\/fundamentos-del-tratamiento-termico-del-aceite\/\">Temple en aceite<\/a> es un m\u00e9todo de enfriamiento moderadamente severo que provoca muchas menos distorsiones que las soluciones acuosas. Por ello, es uno de los m\u00e9todos de temple m\u00e1s utilizados en el tratamiento t\u00e9rmico comercial. Los componentes templados con aceite tienden a tener una microestructura m\u00e1s uniforme. Existen diferentes tipos de aceites de temple, con distintas temperaturas, viscosidad y otras propiedades qu\u00edmicas que pueden formularse para aplicaciones espec\u00edficas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sales fundidas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tambi\u00e9n llamado <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paulo.com\/es\/capabilities\/equipo\/horno-de-sal\/\">ba\u00f1os de sal<\/a>Este medio de enfriamiento mantiene las piezas a una temperatura m\u00e1s alta, proporcionando una velocidad de enfriamiento m\u00e1s lenta y uniforme que el enfriamiento con aceite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gas a alta presi\u00f3n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los procesos modernos de tratamiento t\u00e9rmico utilizan un entorno de vac\u00edo con una atm\u00f3sfera de gas controlada para conseguir la velocidad de enfriamiento deseada minimizando la distorsi\u00f3n. Esto significa que se pueden templar piezas m\u00e1s grandes con sosa c\u00e1ustica de lo que normalmente se har\u00eda con aceite.
