Tiene varias ventajas y se suele realizar en piezas que posteriormente ser\u00e1n sometidas a pintura u otros tratamientos superficiales para su acabado. Este recubrimiento proporciona una alta resistencia alcalina y es preferido como base de pintura, ya que ofrece una adhesi\u00f3n y durabilidad superiores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beneficios del fosfatado de zinc<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Lucha contra la corrosi\u00f3n<\/strong><br>El \u00f3xido es lo primero que nos viene a la mente -todo el mundo sabe lo dura que es la sal de las carreteras en invierno para la carrocer\u00eda de los coches-, pero no es el \u00fanico reto al que se enfrentan las piezas industriales de metal. Cualquier pieza met\u00e1lica que est\u00e9 expuesta a productos qu\u00edmicos corrosivos debe tener un revestimiento protector.<br><br>El fosfatado es una de las formas m\u00e1s populares de proporcionar esa protecci\u00f3n porque es mucho m\u00e1s seguro para el medio ambiente que los antiguos revestimientos que depend\u00edan del plomo y otras sustancias t\u00f3xicas.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reducci\u00f3n de la conductividad<\/strong><br>Todos los metales conducen la electricidad, lo cual es beneficioso para los cables y alambres de transmisi\u00f3n de los dispositivos el\u00e9ctricos. El problema es que muchos de estos dispositivos utilizan tornillos, cajas y otros componentes met\u00e1licos.<br><br>Estos componentes met\u00e1licos deben ser no conductores. De lo contrario, desviar\u00e1n la corriente el\u00e9ctrica fuera de su destino y provocar\u00e1n una molesta descarga el\u00e9ctrica a cualquiera que toque el metal. El recubrimiento de fosfato reduce la conductividad de los componentes met\u00e1licos para evitar que esto ocurra.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Promover la adhesi\u00f3n<\/strong><br>Piense en lo que ocurre cuando salpica agua en el espejo del ba\u00f1o por la ma\u00f1ana: las gotas se deslizan por la superficie del cristal. Muchas superficies met\u00e1licas son resbaladizas de la misma manera, pero necesitan una capa de pintura que se mantenga durante a\u00f1os de uso. Otras piezas met\u00e1licas necesitan ser lubricadas, pero el lubricante, al ser resbaladizo, se desliza enseguida.<br><br>El fosfatado de zinc a\u00f1ade una capa ligeramente rugosa al exterior de una pieza de metal que proporciona a la pintura, los aceites inhibidores de la oxidaci\u00f3n y los lubricantes algo a lo que agarrarse. Tambi\u00e9n se suele realizar antes del recubrimiento en polvo para conseguir una aplicaci\u00f3n y un aspecto uniformes.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mejorar la apariencia<\/strong><br>La mayor\u00eda de los metales desnudos no son muy atractivos (a no ser que le guste mucho el gris), y su coloraci\u00f3n es inconsistente en toda la superficie de una pieza. Este proceso proporciona un color y un tono uniformes que hacen que las piezas met\u00e1licas sean m\u00e1s atractivas desde el punto de vista est\u00e9tico.<br><br>Muchos de los productos de consumo de alta tecnolog\u00eda de hoy en d\u00eda tienen superficies met\u00e1licas unidas con tornillos de m\u00e1quina que ayudan a crear un aspecto de la era espacial.
