A menudo, la tensi\u00f3n de las altas temperaturas y el r\u00e1pido enfriamiento durante el endurecimiento provocan distorsiones en las piezas que requieren un mecanizado adicional, a veces costoso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante este proceso, se inyecta amon\u00edaco (NH3) en el horno, que se rompe al entrar en contacto con la pieza. La dureza se a\u00f1ade en la superficie de la pieza, pero su n\u00facleo sigue siendo comparativamente blando y d\u00factil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como la nitruraci\u00f3n con gas consigue las cualidades deseadas sin un cambio de fase, no es necesario el enfriamiento. Tampoco es necesario templar las piezas despu\u00e9s de la nitruraci\u00f3n con gas, ya que los niveles especificados de dureza, fuerza y resistencia al desgaste pueden alcanzarse en funci\u00f3n de los ajustes realizados en la temperatura del horno, el contenido de gas, el flujo de gas y el tiempo de proceso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beneficios y aplicaciones<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Las piezas que mejor responden a la nitruraci\u00f3n gaseosa son las piezas mecanizadas acabadas, como los aceros para herramientas o las matrices de forja.
