Engineering Leadership Changes

Paulo is excited to announce several promotions within the Engineering Department. Each of the promotions were internal candidates and Paulo is proud to have a culture that develops leaders from within the organization. Engineering strength has always been a focus and a tool to enable customer success.

Scott Russ has accepted a position on the Engineering leadership team as the Project Engineering Manager. Scott joined Paulo at the Murfreesboro plant and moved to St. Louis in a Corporate role in 1995, most recently as a Project Engineer.
Scott Herzing, Vice President of Engineering commented, “We are excited that Scott continues to grow in his career at Paulo and are looking forward to working with him in this new role. We believe his knowledge of Paulo plant operations, equipment design, processes and communication skills will be an excellent addition to the Paulo team.”

Cory Husemann has been promoted to Fabrication and Standard Systems Manager. Cory has been with Paulo on the Engineering team since 2012 as a Project Engineer gained experience in project management, equipment design, fabrication and teamwork. He will manage the Fabrication Shop in St. Louis and continue to support all Paulo locations.

Derek Denlinger has been promoted to Lead Metallurgist. Derek is a 2014 graduate from Missouri University of Science & Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering.
Scott Herzing added, “Derek has a true passion for physical metallurgy, we are very excited about this move as we continue to advance our technical knowledge and understanding.”
