Chad Simpson new Corporate Quality Manager
Paulo is pleased to announce Chad Simpson, our new Corporate Quality Manager. Chad is succeeding Kyle Moore, who transitioned into the Quality Manager role at our St. Louis Division. As Corporate Quality Manager Chad will support Paulo plants through internal audits and lean manufacturing initiatives. Chad will report to the Director of Quality, David Mailes. David says, “Chad’s experience in Toyota Production Systems adds a unique perspective advancing our quality systems.”
Chad has over 10-years of experience in the metals industry, coming from Missouri Smelting Technology (MOST). He began on the production floor and was quickly promoted to Production Group Leader and the Plant ISO Representative. Chad implemented Lean improvements and enhanced process flow while developing work instructions for the Quality Management System. Chad has both Bachelor’s and Masters of Business degrees from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
Chad commented, “I am excited to bring my past experience in a KAIZEN/5S environment to Paulo. I look forward to developing relationships and promoting lean practices.”
