Ben Crawford selected as next Vice President Operations
Paulo is pleased to announce that Ben Crawford is our new Vice President Operations. Ben is succeeding Greg Glei, our current Vice President Operations. During a transition period, Ben Crawford will take over as Greg Glei retires in early 2017. Ben is no stranger to the heat treating world with over 20 years of experience in commercial heat treating.
Ben’s commercial heat treating experience includes positions with Harbor Metal Treating, Bodycote Thermal Processing, and Bluewater Thermal Solutions. At Bluewater, he was Chief Operating Officer overseeing 17 plants. Ben has also held management and executive positions at Independent Steel Castings, Vermont American, Gasbarre Products and Saran Industries.
Throughout his career Ben has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. His focus is, “to develop relationships with Plant Managers, their teams, and our customers. Our goal, by working together, is to continually advance work practices by strengthening team play and communication. This includes a lean culture, openly working together across the plants while instilling positive employee and customer experiences.”
