Zinc Plating Lines

Zinc plating is a process typically undertaken as an aesthetic finish or for corrosion control for small parts such as screws, fasteners, nuts, bolts and other small hardware. Paulo is able to handle high-volume zinc plating orders with automatic barrel plating lines combined with a proven engineering process. Our process outfits parts with a zinc electroplating finish that’s second to none in the industry. Our time-tested, proven process is guaranteed to deliver quality plating with a 12,000 pounds per hour capacity for a quick turnaround time

Our zinc plating processing resources include:

  • Trivalent chromates (never hexavalent chromates), including clear and yellow
  • Seals to improve salt spray performance
  • Large baking operation to reduce the risk of hydrogen embrittlement
  • RoHS 2 and REACH compliance
  • Available compliance with many auto industry OEM plating specifications

Of course, customers interested in our zinc plating options can trust that our purpose-built production control system, Production Information and Customer Service system (PICS) will ensure consistent quality across the board. But in addition to our integrated quality control system, we have numerous testing options to verify consistency, including:

  • Salt spray conforming to ASTM B117 standards
  • Eddy Current Measurement
